Saint of the Slums is a side quest in Dragon's Dogma 2 in which you help a sister at the Gracious Hand Abbey with her sick patients. Since there are a few ways the quest can end, our walkthrough will guide you through the steps you'll need to take to achieve the happiest possible ending.

How to Start Saint of the Slums

If you venture into the Vernworth Slums during the daytime, you'll come upon a pair of Beastren taking one of the sisters of the abbey to task. Their child has fallen ill but they're displeased with how they're being cared for by the sisters. After the conversation, you can speak with Sister Elena to offer your assistance. She'll gladly accept your offer, asking for three miasmite.

Where to Find Miasmite

If you've explored the world at night, you've probably already found enough miasmite to give Elena. If you're missing some, head out of Vernworth at night to find ghosts. These spectral enemies will drop miasmite upon defeat. If you need a surefire place to find miasmite, head northwest to Sacred Arbor, the elf settlement. The forest and the roads along the way are full of ghosts, so you likely won't even need to make the full journey before you have what you need.

Return to Elena with the materials and she'll offer to show you around the abbey. Follow her and she'll introduce you to one of her patients, Lubomir. After the tour, head outside to meet another sister, Lottie. She'll mention to you that she often hears odd noises coming from the basem*nt off the abbey. Return to Lubomir and he'll express his concerns about what's happening in the basem*nt. He'll ask you to investigate for him and return with whatever you've found.

How to Enter the Abbey Basem*nt

While Sister Elena keeps the door locked during the day, you're free to sneak around at night. Enter the abbey, then enter the hallway through the door on the left wall. Head down the stairs and enter the door on the right, passing through this room to the next door. Follow the hallway to the room with several sick patients, then pass through the curtain in the back. Here you'll find a bookcase and some shelves.

Grab the Unlabeled Medicine from the shelf and the Records of Treatment from the bookcase, then head back to Lubomir with the evidence.

Dealing with the Evidence

For the Records of Treatment, Lubomir will suggest you speak with the two men listed in the Records of Treatment, Bruno and Jehan. They'll be at Walter's Tavern, a local watering hole just to the north of the abbey. While they're happy with her treatment, they'll also mention that she meets regularly with an unsavory looking man in the common quarter.

The meeting place will be marked on your map, so head to the common quarter at night (use a bed or a bench to pass the time) then sneak over to the meeting place.

You don't need to get too close before a scene will play out, so approach slowly so you don't get spotted. Once the scene is over, you're done following this lead.

Show the Unlabeled Medicine to Lubomir and he'll suggest seeking out a doctor that can identify the tonic, mentioning Checkpoint Rest Town as a good place to start. Indeed, the quest will mark a home in the town, which you can reach by taking an oxcart from Vernworth's west exit gate.

Head to the south side of Checkpoint Rest Town, heading up the roads to one of the homes on the cliff. Inside you'll meet a doctor by the name of Radcliff, who will investigate the medicine. You'll need to give him time to work so rest at the inn or on a bench in town until the next day. Return to Radcliff to learn that the medicine is actually an addictive substance that can do more harm than good.

Time for Justice

Now that you've investigated both leads, head back to the abbey to find that Lubomir has been moved to the basem*nt, to Lottie's dismay. Head to the basem*nt to find Elena standing outside the sickroom. Grab her and you'll pin her down, after which the screen will cut to black.

One of the city guards will be discussing the case with you, citing the evidence you collected to lock up Sister Elena. The quest is complete and you'll receive 11,000 G for all your hard work!

But what about Lubomir? He's still sick and Lottie is certain he won't get better without medical intervention. While the quest is finished, you can still act to save him, so head back to the Checkpoint Rest Town and speak with Radcliff again, asking him to come treat Lubomir and the other sick patients. He'll agree as long as you pay him 3,000 G, which still leaves you with a whole 8,000 G and you'll save Lubomir in the process. As an additional thanks you'll receive 10 Blighted Arrows.
